Katie grew up competing in gymnastics, and continued her athletic career as a top 10 nationally ranked pole vaulter in college, and finished her athletic career as a brakeman for the U.S. Bobsleigh team.
Matt spent his years on the baseball diamond as a pitcher. He was the 2009 Gatorade Player of the Year and was drafted 5th overall by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2009 MLB Draft. After 7 years in the minor leagues and a couple shoulder/elbow injuries he retired his glove after reaching AA with the Bowie Baysox.
